Cleanliness of the hostel. When my friend and I arrived, the staff explained everything to us clearly and guided us up to our room. Very professional. You need to leave your shoes in the lobby, in cabinets pre-assigned according to your room assignment. They also provided us slippers which can be used while at the hostel. These slippers should be placed in a basket when you have to check-out. Our room was located in the second floor so an elevator is not needed. Also, upon arriving we saw staff cleaning near our room. And once inside you can smell the strong smell of bleach, others will be bothered by this but we felt relieved as I felt they thoroughly cleaned the room before it gets occupied. Room is airconditioned, has tv and hair drier. Bed was nice and comfortable. I liked it as well as beddings are spotless white. Instead of just having a single key card, they provided us each. When you need some free toiletries/stuff you just have to present your key card each time. I liked the common place as well. You can even work, play some reacreational games and meet some new travelers. You can also bring food inside (common kitchen). Coffees and teas as much as you want as a water dispenser is available, as well as microwave and utensils. We went into the rooftop but it was quiet and kind of dim as they use a yellow bulb although it's a nice area to relax aside from your room. It's an open area btw. The hostel can be quite far from Ximending Exit 5, around 1km-1.2km on foot. Although when you exit from the mrt (Exit 5) you just have to walk across it and walk past Watson's and just continue walking until the last street where a hospot restaurant is located.

It was a lovely and lively hostel. I did prefer the location of another hostel I stayed at before, although this one was maybe in a more touristy neighborhood and, therefore, also more lively. but this one was more lively, and it was great that they had different cultural things and tours you could do. Overall, I like hostels in Taiwan anyway because fellow travelers are respectful in the rooms from my experience. I'd definitely recommend people to stay here if they're looking to meet solo travelers but also like privacy when needed. The showers were kept clean and I love the Japanese style toilets that can clean you well.

The hostel is in a great location! It's near the Ximen station, the Rainbow Six Crossing, and the Ximen Night Market! It's very lively with many local restaurants and cafes just walking distance. I was able to take multiple day trips from the Ximen station as well. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They were approachable and answered whatever questions I had. I even ended up getting caught up in a downpour and the hostel had shoe driers! The other guests were super nice as well. This was my first time solo-traveling and as a young female, I felt very safe and comfortable in this hostel.

Very clean and comfortable beds in the 4 person dorm. Bathroom was meticulously cleaned everyday which is great. There is quite a big lounge/common area for chilling/eating/working. It's located a ten minute walk from Ximen station and there are multiple bus stops close by as well. Even though it's in Ximen and close to the bustling shipping area, it's still relatively quiet where it is. Overall fantastic stay and would stay at any meander again if this was any indication of quality of stay.

The room was comfortable for a group of four friends sharing a four-bed dorm. Plently of room for luggage. Private bathroom was also great and cleaned daily. The rooms were quiet so we got a great nights sleep. The common area is large and there is lots of information on what to in the city. The front desk is helpful too. The hostel is a short walk to the main downtown area but far enogh away that you can escape it too. We had a great stay here :)
